I like this one better. It was done with aquarelle (water-colour) crayons and permanent fine-tip marker for the black outlines. By the way--I have prints of this one for sale!
I think that the original (coloured pencil?) portrait is more "realistic" in style, but this one has more pizzazz. It sort of captures the scene even though it's a little more abstract. I like it a lot. :D
Any chance you'll have a print of the other one as well? I like both, but this one is "floating" whereas the other gives me more a sense of location, of purpose (the money) and the reality that musicians don't live on pizzazz alone. ;-)
Over 127 pages! (First draft) Based on Louisa May Alcott's book An Old-Fashioned Girl. It is not outside the realm of possibility that this play will, someday, be coming to a theatre near you!
